What is SAP MDM ?

AP MDM (Master data management) refers to synchronizing “master data” — a company’s most important data about its customers, products or other assets — for the enterprise. SAP MDM systems manage master data from a central system. In other words, master data is data that is not connected to a particular transaction, but is used in many instances within an enterprise, such as customer information, product descriptions and vendor lists.

SAP MDM (Human Resources Advanced Business Application Programming) is a programming language for developing applications for the SAP R/3 system, a widely-installed business application subsystem. SAP MDM is the primary language in which most SAP software including customizations are written.
